What are the cosmetic label ECOCERT AB mean (created early 2004):
DEFINITIONS of LABELS
COSMETIQUE ECOLOGIQUE (ECO LABEL)
The finished product must contain a minimum of 95% natural ingredients (water is not taken in account in the figure!).
The percentage in organic ingredients must be a minimum of 5% in the finished product.
The plant ingredients must be 50% of organic origin.
COSMETIQUE ECOLOGIQUE & BIOLOGIQUE (BIO LABEL)
The finished product must contain a minimum of 95% natural ingredients (water is not taken in account in the figure!).
The percentage in organic ingredients must be a minimum of 10% in the finished product.
The plant ingredients must be 95% of organic origin.
Conclusion: thee BIO label is not 100% natural ingredients mais rather accepts 5% chemicals. Ouch!
At least, these numerous companies
write down the ingredient list in French and do not use synthetic fragrance, coloring or preservative...Better than ever!

NOTE: Lors de l'élaboration de notre baume au calendula, il nous a été difficile de trouver un calendula extrait autrement qu'avec le propylène glycol.
Nous avons finalement déniché un extrait au CO2 au Royaume-Uni. Soyons attentifs à l'ensemble des gammes aux extraits de calendula employés en cosmétique et questionnons nos pharmaciens.
